Shizuka- The Demon Priestess

Well, while my neck was in much pain I managed to come up with quite the amazing story and my main character: Shizuka which means "quiet".

Born in a village hidden in a mountainous valley, Shizuka trained to become a miko-a demon fighting priestess. One day, her village was attacked by a series of powerful demons and the leader of those demons managed to tear out half of her soul.

Mortally wounded, Shizuka's mother, Yukiko, captured one of the demons that attacked the village and imbued half of its soul into Shizuka to keep her living. The soul of the wolf demon combined into Shizuka giving her a fluffy white tail and one yellow eye.

Shizuka knows that her lifespan is limited and she must retrieve the other half of her soul in order to save herself. While battling her own inner demon, literally, and killing demons at the same time, Shizuka sets out on a quest to save her soul.

Phew, that's a rough outline, but it's something!
