Owwwwwwww.....I've got a terribly painful cervical sprain caused by overextension of my neck while I was asleep. Talk about a freak accident!

Yeah, so I'm trying to keep off of the computer since I can hardly move my neck and I need to rest it. I just thought I'd let everyone know really quick. I'll be back soon! When I can move my neck, at least.

Drawing is difficult too and I have a lot of work to do! I have to hold my sketchbook, literally, up to my face to draw. This sucks.

Hello all!

We are moving through the month of May at a frighteningly fast rate! But it brings us closer to the one day that brings all artists on the planet together for a day long "draw-a-thon".

Have no clue what I'm talking about? This year on June 7, 2008 join the entire world as we celebrate the gift of art. This "Drawing Day 2008" our goal is to submit 1,000,000 works of art on the internet worldwide.

The point of all of this? To bring appreciation to us artists out there and make the world more aware of those little creatures that hide behind their tablets and sketchbooks on a daily basis.

Well, I'm back! I had lots of things to catch up on, so I took an few extra days away from dA. Sadly, I didn't win at the SkillsUSA competition. But that's all well and good because I had the time of my life while I was there. I cannot wait to go again next year! My friends and I had a ball and I met lots of new people and had an all around good time.

Well, please do forgive me if I don't comment on your journals or deviations. I've got far too much to deal with, so please bear with me. I'm just going to pretty much clear things out of the good old inbox.

No, I'm not leaving dA forever sillies! Tomorrow I'm going away to my Skills USA competition for two days! I'm excited. I'm in the T-shirt/spot color design competition.

For those who don't know, Skills USA is open to hight school and college level students. It is a nationwide competition where students all over the US come and compete in various activities, usually based on their major. Since I'm majoring in Art/Advertising I chose to compete in creating a T-shirt based on the Skills USA theme for the year.

Hopefully I do a good job and come back with a gold medal!!!! I'm a bit nervous though. This is my first competition.

Also, I have lots of work to post up! But....thanks to some issues with dA I haven't been able to submit anything. Hopefully, everything will be in check when I get back and I will be able to post my things when I come back from my trip.

My subbie will be all gone by the time I get back!

I probably will wind up deleting most of my messages (journals specifically) when I get back. So if I don't comment, don't worry! I haven forgotten about you!

This time around I am running 2 contests! But first for the main contest:

By the Light of the Moon Contest
This is the "main contest" and is the one with the biggest prizes! For this contest the goal is to take some sort of show (anime preferably) and turn the characters into wolves!!!

It seems to be a popular trend to turn characters of a show into wolves. Well, I want to see some amazing designs! The entries will NOT be judged on how well they are drawn, but how creative and well they represent the human counterparts.

You will have plenty of time to participate in this contest and you may enter as many entries as you see fit.

Prizes:
1st place: 3 month subscription, free commission of choice
2nd place: free commission of choice
