Sorry for the lack of comments on your work, journals, etc. I just started my job at the library, so I've been very busy and trying to get used to my schedule. Once I settle in, I'll be back to my regular activity.

Okay, so maybe something else is distracting me from activity here. I actually bought Pokemon Platinum and I love it.

Despite the fact that it's summer time, before we all know it September will be upon us. Meaning me starting college and the New York Anime Festival. Any of my lovely dA friends here planning on being there?

This journal's discussion question:
What are your feelings on the Twilight series?

I know it is a beaten to death dead horse topic, but I've always wondered how my dA watchers/friends felt about the series. Trust me, I hear plenty about in on the forums and in real life, but I'm just coming up with a random topic to waste some time.

The Everlasting Summer Contest

Theme: What does "everlasting summer" mean to you? Is it a place? A feeling? An object? The goal of this contest is to capture in the most artistic and creative way possible what "everlasting summer" is to you.

Mediums: Any artistic medium is allowed. It includes but is not limited to: Traditional art, digital, photography, artisan craft, and literature.

Rules:
1. Your work must be tasteful. Basically nothing pornographic, okay?
2. This must be a NEW deviation. Anything submitted before June 18th is automatically disqualified.
3. No collaborations allowed. It must be %100 your own work.
4. Valid, legal stock resources are allowed, but they MUST be credited.
5. Of course, the work must be associated with the theme.
6. Please provide in the 'Artist's Comments' an explanation of the work and how it is relevant to the theme of 'everlasting summer'.

Prizes:
3 month subscription
One full color traditional illustration from ~CatWoman4ever or a sketch set (includes sketch book, pencils, eraser, and set of 12 Prismacolor Verithin pencils)
